The Story Behind Princess and The Mouse
Recently, my grandfather apologized to me for something that happened that year. He asked if I remembered what happened back then.
I laughed and told him, “Well, I was young, so who knows?“
Then he reminded me that 1986 was the year he and my grandmother took me to Walt Disney World for the first time.
He looked at me and said, “You haven’t wanted to be anywhere else since.”
He was right.
I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Walt Disney World countless times since that first trip, along with Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line. I’ve traveled as a a child, a teenager, a young adult, a mom-and now as a very experienced traveler.
But that little conversation with my grandfather is one of my favorite travel memories.
Because it reminds me that sometimes the trip itself isn’t the most important part of a vacation. It’s the memory you carry with you afterward.
And that’s what I want to help other people create.
From Family Memories to Travel Planning
My love of travel eventually grew into a passion for planning. I became the person my family and friends turned to when they wanted to know where to stay, which cruise to choose, how to make the most of a destination, or simply where to begin.
That passion eventually became my career as a travel advisor with Storyteller Adventures.
Today, I help travelers plan everything from Disney vacations and cruises to Universal, all-inclusive resorts and adventures beyond.
Because every vacation has a story. And I’d love to help you write yours.
Travel Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All
I don’t believe there is one “perfect” vacation.
A family with young children may want something completely different from a couple celebrating an anniversary. A first-time cruiser may need different advice than an experienced traveler choosing their next ship.
That’s why I start by getting to know you—what you love, what matters most, what you want to experience, and what you don’t.
My job isn’t to plan my perfect vacation.
It’s to help you plan yours.
